The 4^th Meeting of the OIC/COMCEC Private Sector Tourism Forum

The 4^th Meeting of the OIC/COMCEC Private Sector Tourism Forum was held on 14-15 January 2016 in İstanbul with the theme of “Promoting Muslim Friendly Tourism (MFT) Products and Services in the OIC Member Countries.”

The Meeting was attended by the public and private sector representatives from 8 Member States namely Algeria, Azerbaijan, Djibouti, Iran, Mauritania, Nigeria, Sudan and Turkey. Representatives of OIC General Secretariat, COMCEC Coordination Office, SESRIC, Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Islamic Center for Development of Trade (ICDT) and some other guests have also attended the Meeting.

The Representatives of the Member States have shared their experiences, achievements and challenges in tourism branding in their respective countries and discuss cooperation opportunities.
