Within the framework of the project titled “Capacity Building on Islamic Finance in Mozambique, Gambia and Nigeria (2018-MOZFINAN-610)” being implemented by the Ministry of Finance of Mozambique, a three-day training program and workshop were conducted between 2-4 September, 2019 in Maputo, Mozambique with the participation of Nigeria and the Gambia.
Within the scope of the training program, participants from the partner countries were trained on various issues such as “Islamic Banking and Islamic Finance”, “Main Characteristics of Products and Services”, “Impact of Islamic Finance on Economic and Social Development of Countries”. Also, during the workshop organized immediately after the training program, partner countries’ representatives and local participants from universities and private sector have shared their opinions and experiences on the respective topics.
