3rd Annual Focal Points Meeting of the COMCEC Working Groups was held on 10-11 June 2015 in Ankara. The meeting was attended by the representatives of 36 Countries, a total of 77 Working Group Focal Points and National Focal Points registered to the COMCEC Working Groups.
During the meeting, Working Group Focal Points and National Focal Points have been informed on the progress regarding the implementation of the COMCEC Strategy; the role of the said focal points in implementation of the Strategy and expectations from themselves have been underlined and their experiences, views and recommendations regarding the implementation have been taken. Moreover, the application status of Policy Recommendations, which is one of the most important outputs of COMCEC Working Groups Meetings, in member countries have been touched upon and exchange of views on how they can be applied has been realized. In this context, there have been discussions on 2016-2018 themes defined within the scope of COMCEC Working Groups. Finally, a training program related to the COMCEC Project Funding Mechanism has been conducted and the said focal points have found the opportunity to conduct study on project preparation.
